EAVESDROPPINGS

I love to eavesdrop. I'm just nosey I guess. On the road we sometimes overhear some odd things. Here's some of what's been partially overheard in airports, hotel lobbies and all points in between:

One flight attendant says to another as I boarded a plane...
"...well, it's true what they say about french fries and babies..." (What???)

On a partially torn piece of paper posted in a Las Vegas church's choir room...
"Death Begins In The Colon S..."

At a festival in Kentucky a lady introducing the guy with her to someone...
"Have you met my brother-husband? Husband I mean?" (Sure you do)

On a subway in London a conversation between two business men...I think...as I walked quickly past...
"...and skin won't disintegrate that fast, not in this season, I don't care what we do?" (That's been my experience sure.)

This morning in my own house I come in on this theological lecture from my daughter (4.5) to my son (2.5) while pretending to be at church...
"He's in your heart but he doesn't get blood on him and mom doesn't know how."

Know what they say about french fries and babies or how fast a body decomposes in London? Married to your brother or being killed by your colon? Discuss this SHLOG on my message-board Thanks for Shlogging.

Now I wonder where in the Choir Room this would be. That is actually funny that you found that while waiting to go on. I am rather shocked that you still remember that all the way from January. Can't wait for you to come back.
