They take donut batter and squeeze it from a funnel - the way you'd apply icing - but they squeeze it into boiling grease, in a squiggly pattern that loosely resembles a a bunch of snakes tied in knots floating in hot grease. It cooks instantly and is removed, slapped onto a paper plate and sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. It basically tastes like a slightly crispier donut. But it's much bigger.
