Absolutely awesome at Shoreview last night Shaun! Great to see you again. Scott was sorry he couldn't make it, but alas, duty calls. Prayers are with you this weekend as you continue on your travels.

Awesomeness - Orlando. :-) Looking forward to it!
I'm sitting on a bench just outside the Orlando airport's baggage claim. Free WiFi outside? Unheard of at an airport. Kudos to Orlando.
It's been a long day of flying: from Minneapolis to Atlanta, a break for some Chick-fil-A and then off to Orlando. It's 5PM here in Florida and Brian's off to rent the car. Then it's quickly off to a Compassion International event of some kind - I honestly don't understand exactly what the event is. It's at a home and it's a small crowd of "donors". But I know my friends from Compassion are there and asked for my help. I'm excited to see them again and help in any way I can. Hope they don't mind the smell of me. I won't have time to clean up before things kick off.
After the show (??) I'll post some more if the hotel has WiFi. I finished a great book on the plane I'm anxious to talk about with you all.
Talk to you then,
Shaun
oooh, can't wait to hear about the book!
Glad to hear your Orlando Airport experience was a good one - at least with the WiFi and all. Hope you brought your summer clothes with you. It's kinda (very) hot here.
And, hope your hotel does have WiFi because, aside from hearing about the book of course, I'm wondering if I have the info right about tomorrow. I heard early service and then Youth SS?
I'm doing the morning service and high school SS.
I hope you enjoyed the greatest state known as Minnesota but alas I will probably hear about how awful the north is on Tuesday.

I LOVED MINNESOTA...because it's not winter there any more. 50s are bearable, even beautiful.

Thanks for coming to Orlando - it was an extra special Sunday at church.
I am sitting here going through the pictures of the kids on Compassion's website and feeling helpless to do anything because of a tight budget but then excited because I know I can get my kids together on this and just do it. Which will require giving up some other stuff - that they like a whole lot. Anyway...
Also, thanks for taking the time to chat with my friendly little girl. She was quite pleased. :-)
Is your daughter Jaymey? Little blonde girl who colored a pictured of Saul in her Sunday School class this morning?
What's your daughter's name?

Yep, Jayme. She liked talking to the "music guy". :-) And she actually told us all about Saul at Lunch. She keeps us on our toes! We kinda love her. :-)
Hey Shaun,
Great job at Chapel this morning. I finished my 'requirements' two years ago, but I went anyways this morning. =) Thanks for just saying what you said, not sugar-coating it like I've heard so many speakers at Baylor do. Thanks for the laying out the challenge that God has called us too. See you tonight at the Hippodrome. I'm a youth pastor, so I'm gonna bring the whole group to the concert. (But I have to admit, I did enjoy sitting on the couches and just talking at UBC last year.)
You rock in Waco! That was an amazing worship service last night. Thanks for being authentic. I'm a youth pastor with cruz-control, and everyone in our group loved it!
