OUT OF LINE

Too poor for a PS3 and too bored to make it through the work day? Check out Line Rider.

  • Play it/make it here.

  • See what's possible here.

There's even a forum and a squidoo lens.

Have fun. Link us to anything you make. If you're looking to record your creation on a Mac I recommend Snapz Pro.

    Hey, who needs Sony?

Thanks for destroying my productivity. This is insanely fun.

I've already done the obvious thing, of course, which is to design for the most brutal, extended, graphic accident possible. My last design left me a little queasy.

    I just don't have time.

    But when I do...

    ...cheap music video.

Justin and I were playing this last week...it's addicting. He kept saying, "Okay Mom! Get up, my turn."

Come on, Brody. You're not doing anything.

I think you should add a PS3 into your rider.

I'm not good at that thing. It's really hard. I need more practice before I can unleash the line rider. It took be about 10 tries to figure out what that guy was riding, and how to make him go.

By the way Mr. Groves... I'm building a bed tomorrow, wanna help? How's that for not doing anything.

    How big's the bed?

In-laws arrive tonight. Probably won't be available for the whole bed building thing. Which is a shame. My heart skipped a beat at the thought of spending the day building something I'll never use for no money. And hanging out with you of course.

Seriously, if it can wait till after Thanksgiving I'm there. Electric tools in hand.

Hey Shaun...I love your blog! "Met" you when you spoke at lunch and then played at our church here in PA. I showed my husband that you blogged about Line Rider. He plays it with our kids. They crack up laughing every time! I haven't seen this intricate stuff yet though...Holy Cow! I bookmarked a few to show my kids when they get up tomorrow.
    Anyway, I appreciate your posts.
