WHITE FLAG IN STORES TODAY!
We played for a packed house last night and sold out of White Flag. The people off Florida, only after 5PM, were the first to be able to buy it - and they did - big time. Thanks.
Wish I had time to post more this morning. We're leaving Boca Raton for Nashville in five minutes. Once there we'll rush to The People's Church in Franklin, TN to make last minute sound adjustments and rehearse a little more for tonight's CD Release Concert there at 7PM. It's free. Come out and see us if you're in the area.
I'll retro post later this week and do a little show and tell about my time in the Mouth Of The Rat in Florida.

just wanted to say that you did an awesome job of moving the hearts of all of us in the rat's mouth last night! Your humor broke down walls and made way for real ministry through your new music. My favorite was What's Wrong With This World- the hook is still going in my memory right now! I'm excited to pop in the new CD and hear what a Shaun Groves produced CD sounds like. Thanks for taking the time to listen to mine and meet my wife and I as well!

I hope to get my hands on 2 copies - 1 for us and 1 for a friend. . now i'll finally be able to hear what everyone else has been hearing for a while now. I don't know why i'm so out of touch!!!?

hey. . i just got my copy of the CD tonight. My first ever exposure to Shaun Groves' music. . i like it.
I don't know what i expected? the music is a lot edgier than i thought it would be. . i have these 'prejudices' when it comes to Christian music, i guess *even though I'm a follower of Christ* I do like some of it, don't get me wrong but i like mainstream/'secular' stuff, i must confess. . i find it . . i don't know. .often more inventive, more socially relevant. . you hear a lot of 'soul cries' in mainstream music . . i feel like if i lost touch with that, i'd be too sheltered from what the world is saying through its songwriters.
So, yeah -- i like this CD! I'm sure that i'll come to appreciate it even more as i listen to it and read through the words.
