NORTHERN UGANDA CHURCH

I need the help of a SHLOG.COM reader. You people are everywhere so...

Does anyone out there have a contact for a church or church official in Uganda, preferably Northern Uganda? I'm trying to make a connection and am having a hard time. If you can help me out or know someone who might be able to, feel free to post any responses here in the comments or you can e-mail me at shaunfanmail@bellsouth.net.

Thanks,
Shaun

My reason for wanting to contact someone in Uganda is related to Invisible Children actually. I've tried to contact them but so far no answer. Thanks for the help though.

Hey Shaun...I've got some connections. I'll make some calls and email you. I may not be able to get anything til Monday, but my church at school in Tulsa is very connected to Uganda...in fact, I think they just sent a team there. Also one of my friends has done a lot of missionary work there. Something's bound to come up.

I'll get back to you soon. :)

I would try Alpha Omega Seminary. Let me ask my dad, he just went to Uganda last month. He will probably know someone you could contact.

Re: Invisible Children, the best way to contact them is to call during business hours, when you can talk to them directly and immediately. They're awesome people, but not the most consistent in getting back to people whether by email or phone.

My family and I went to Uganda last yesr for a mission trip. We worked with a family who are career missionaries through the International Mission Board. There were many of them.. Perhaps you could try the IMB for more luck.

THe country is amazing! The people are unbelievably open to the Gospel!

There is a great connection through UNight in New York. Check out the contacts at www.unight.org Well worth it, as they are very well connected on the ground in Northern Uganda.

I am sending a couple of staff to Northern Uganda in October. Are you heading there?

Peace,
Jamie
